These linen pants are a wide leg with stretchy waist band.  Linen leg is not stretchy. 

Ash is a size 16 regular at 6 weeks post partum in the XL (she is a 30 inch inseam).  She could wear the 1x to lay flatter on the tummy also.  Please note inseam on S-XL vs 1x-3x below.

If you're in between sizes and want room on the tummy since there is a drawstring you can size up one.
